Regulations for Promotional Testing
Student must have been training for a minimum of 2 months. Student must have averaged a minimum of 2 class room hours per week since their last test. Students 8th Gup thru 4th Gup may test every 2 months. Students 4th Gup thru 1st Gup may test no sooner than 4 months. (exceptional students may test at 2 months at their instructors discretion.) Student must know all techniques and Korean terminology required for the rank. Student must be recommended by a certified OMAC instructor. Students tuition must be paid up to date. Student must be an OMAC member with a membership card. Student must register and pay the applicable test fee by the date posted at his school. Uniforms for testing must meet the OMAC Regulation Uniform Code as outlined on page 10 of this manual. Students 8th Gup and higher must have all required sparring gear .
Scoring and Certification
Test scores range from 63 to 80, any score below 65 is failing. Average score will determine whether a student passes the complete test to receive his belt. Individual technique score will determine whether a student receives his belt with his classmates. Students failing any techniques will retest the technique approximately 2 weeks later at his school. Students will receive their certification after the next test.
