What is Qi Gong?

The Chinese character for Qi or life energy is the same character used for air. Proper breathing is essential to life.
With Qi Gong, a person learns breathing techniques that will be the first step to improved health and a better outlook on life

More Than Breathing

Those participating in the Pearl River O.M.A.C.'s Qi Gong class will be practicing exercise that promotes harmony of the mind and spirit along with health. The movements often seem like the forms learned in traditional class but are performed at a slower fluid pace.

Basic Self Defense

The forms that will be practiced regularly not only look like art in motion and feel good, they also are useful. Students will be taught how they can use their techniques to defend themselves. These lessons involve basic techniques that almost any student can manage.
