Ashilyn has had her nine month check ups a bit late due to health issues in our family. At least she has had chicken pox now!
She continues to have problems with asthma and allergies. I have carefully taken notes on what she is reacting to. It has gotten rather extensive with what I am having to avoid. I no longer clean with commercial products even.
The nurse practioner jotted my notes into theirs. She mentioned the big nasty allergy test that the pediatrician was hoping to avoid. We are debating on we think is best and arming ourselves with knowledge for next months visit.

Ashilyn is learning to walk. She takes several toddling steps!
She loves to eat. Watch your plate if you ever have dinner with us because she will love your food too.
She is now wearing a size 24 month in clothes and a four in shoes. Where did my baby go?
She amazes us when she interacts with other babies. She loves to play and chatter.
We see 5 teeth. We sometimes get to feel them as well.
Her love for princess things continues. She enjoys looking at Princess things online so I amused her one day by showing her Disney World's Magical Kingdom photos from their website. Her Daddy had to ask if she wanted to see that castle. She squirmed from my lap, offered him a kiss and grabbed her shoes. Then Daddy had to find a castle to bring her to! We were saved by convincing her the wooden playground set at the park was a castle and the plastic dinosaurs were guardian dragons. She was satisfied and we all had fun with her.
And now it's time to begin weaning from the bottle. She is doing very well with her cup and table foods. She has already cut down on her formula intake so now I want to encourage her to go farther with that.
